Ms Lara Jane Perici Calascione, Educational Psychologist
Lara Jane Perici Calascione is an Educational Psychologist with extensive experience in both public and private educational and clinical settings. She obtained her Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Malta and was awarded her professional warrant in 2022. Lara Jane currently serves as a visiting lecturer, examiner, and dissertation supervisor within the Faculty of Social Wellbeing at the University of Malta, where she also mentors emerging professionals in the field.
Previously, she was the Lead Psychologist at St Ignatius College, overseeing psychological services across seven schools and managing a team of psychology assistants. Her practice spans a broad client base, including children, adolescents, and adults from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds, with particular expertise in neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and ASD.
Lara Jane is pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Malta. Her research focus is on the diagnostic processes and lived experiences of adults with ADHD. Her professional interests include psychological assessment, inclusive education, and advancing best practices in educational psychology.
Special interests: Developmental Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Socio-Emotional difficulties, and Anxiety in children and teenagers.
