Book Title:
The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman
Why I chose it: Richard Osman is the presenter of a TV game show that I watch daily. I love his sense of humour and I had been looking forward to starting his book since it was published.
What I especially liked about it: I am very picky with the books I read, and generally, only read psychological thrillers. However, I was set on starting this book because of Richard Osman’s witty humour. The Thursday Murder Club is a story about a group of senior citizens who find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation. It offers a good mix of fictional crime without far fetched situations, such as aliens. It is a light read with short chapters - perfect for reading at the beach or after a long day at work!
