Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) is targeted for individuals with complex learning needs, with or without challenging behaviour. Assessment highlights the gaps in the skill repertoire of the child that will then be targeted through individualised intervention. Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) is effective for decreasing behaviours that challenge while increasing functional skills.
Intervention is planned following a thorough functional analysis of behaviour. Training on behavioural management is provided and essential for a consistent and effective outcome.
